Don McLean’s American Pie interpretations

I thought about doing a cut and paste of a Cecil Adams “The Straight Dope” post, but I decided to just post the link to it along with a word or two of my own.

I always enjoy Cecil’s articles. He and his team are committed to doing thorough research on questions that are submitted to him.
